Journal of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is an Open Access journal. All its content is available free of charge. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search the full text of articles, as well as to establish HTML links to them, without having to seek the consent of the author or publisher.
The journal does not charge any fees at submission, reviewing, and production stages. It uses Diamond Open Access model. There are no article processing charges and no article submission charges.
Authors retain copyright of the published papers and grant to the publisher the non-exclusive right to publish the article, to be cited as its original publisher in case of reuse, and to distribute it in all forms and media. Articles will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.
This means that you are free to: share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format and adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided and it is indicated if changes were made. The licensor cannot evoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.
Authors can enter the separate, additional contractual arrangements for non-exclusive distribution of the published paper (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
1.1. Self-archiving policy
Authors can deposit author’s preprint, author’s postprint (accepted version) and publisher's version (Version of Record) of their work in an institutional repository, subject-based and general-purpose repository, author's personal website (including social networking sites, such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.), and/or departmental website prior or during the submission process, at any time after the acceptance of the manuscript and at any time after publication.
Full bibliographic information (authors, article title, journal title, volume, issue, pages) about the original publication must be provided and links must be made to the article's DOI and the license.
1.2. No embargo policy
Journal of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences does not impose media embargos on content. Authors, as the owners of their original work, are free to disseminate advance information about forthcoming articles that they have contributed to the Journal of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
1.3. Definition of Open Access
Open-access (OA) literature is digital, online, free of charge, and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions.
OA is compatible with copyright, peer review, revenue (even profit), print, preservation, prestige, quality, career-advancement, indexing, and other features and supportive services associated with conventional scholarly literature.
The legal basis of OA is the consent of the copyright holder (for newer literature) or the expiration of copyright (for older literature).
OA is compatible with peer review, and all the major OA initiatives for scientific and scholarly literature insist on its importance.
There are two primary vehicles for delivering OA to research articles, OA journals (“gold OA”) and OA repositories (“green OA”).
Open access is not synonymous with universal access.
OA is a kind of access, not a kind of business model, license, or content.
OA serves the interests of many groups.
Citizens: OA gives them access to peer-reviewed research, most of which is unavailable in public libraries, and gives them access to the research for which they have already paid through their taxes. But even those with no interest in reading this literature for themselves will benefit indirectly because researchers will benefit directly. OA accelerates not only research but the translation of research into new medicines, useful technologies, solved problems, and informed decisions that benefit everyone.
1.4. Metadata Policy
The journal metadata are freely accessible to all, and freely reusable by all, under the terms of the Creative Commons Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication license.
