Repository Policy

The Journal of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (JHRS) is a fully open access journal. To maximize dissemination and visibility of published research, we permit authors to deposit and archive all versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based, and general repositories.

Versions Allowed for Deposit

  • Pre-print (Submitted Version):
    Authors may deposit the original version of the manuscript (before peer review) in any repository or preprint server at any time.

  • Post-print (Accepted Version):
    Authors may deposit the peer-reviewed, accepted manuscript (Author’s Accepted Manuscript, AAM) in repositories immediately after acceptance, without embargo.

  • Publisher’s Version (Version of Record):
    Authors may archive the final published PDF version in institutional repositories, subject repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, Europe PMC), or personal websites immediately upon publication.

Licensing & Copyright

All articles published in JHRS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author(s) and the source are properly cited. Authors retain copyright of their work.

Repository Types

Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in:

  • Institutional repositories (e.g., university libraries).

  • Subject repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, Europe PMC, Zenodo).

  • General repositories (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).

Embargo Policy

No embargo period applies. All versions may be archived immediately.

Long-term Preservation

JHRS ensures long-term preservation of its content through indexing in international databases, DOI registration via Crossref, and digital archiving partnerships.
